Unfortunately, Chitogesk or whatever the youtube user was, seems to have taken down all their Ai Tenchi videos, perhaps a DMCA or some such.  I don't like himado.in so much, but it provides a shorter wait than Anime Koi for now just for raws.

So we're about 3/4 of the way through now.  Election thing from last week is still the theme.  Will likely stay the theme for 2 days in my estimate, maybe even to Thursday.  If there are no flashbacks or flash forwards.

Yuki uses the same doll Gag Washu used on Dr. Clay in OAV2.  No TM cast, above average episode for ATM new cast since it lacks stupidity.

More election stuff.  Lots of cheating from the one side.  Seems like it will fill out the rest of the week.

Now I know that they're just trolling us!  If Kajishima doesn't do something fast, I'm blaming AIC for killing the series outright and what I'm about to do is going to be the least of their worries when I get word that their dreadful goal was a success.  The one thing you DON'T even try to do with an anniversary season is use it to kill the associated series outright - everyone seems to be following that memo except AIC.

With that said... reveal face down trap card!

I've long considered Tenchi Muyo a mismanaged series from what it could have been after the end of OAV2.

Just look at Negishi verse.  TU Space and Time Adventures/TMiL/TMiL2/Eternal Memory and however AiTM fits in or doesn't.  The man doesn't think you can tell a decent Tenchi story without it involving time travel and dimensional rift nonsense in every story.

TMiL2.  DoD/MnE.  TinT.  Etc.  And AIC doesn't think Tenchi Muyo can go on without constant Girl X overtones.  AiTM outshining them all on that front.

Pretty much a Tenchi/Momo episode.  But lots of exposition.  Election stuff looking likely to drag to next week.

I like Momo, I wouldn't mind seeing her and Hachiko in the main harem.

Momo is likely the main female protagonist in the series. She is a lot like Noike and Sayuka.  Washu is up to something very devious.  Washu wants to prevent Momo from winning the election.  I am wondering what Washu is doing.

Well, the week ended on a cliffhanger with whatever is happening with the GXP or whoever suddenly at the end.

A lot of Momo exposition at an election debate.

This was a week without Tenchi main cast girls.

51 up.  Chitogeksk didn't upload today, back to Himado.

I thought we'd get a fairly exciting episode today, based on the cliffhanger last week, and while a lot of things seems about to happen, a lot of exposition drags this down (as it did OAV3).  Apparently Washu is causing a singularity that will eventually suck in other planets, the sun, and even the entire galaxy, I'm guessing.

Maybe tomorrow will be better, for now be satisfied with set up and some qoot Washu poses.  I'm detecting some fairly juvenile humor too, which is ok.  Strangely, this all feels extremely disconnected from the election business last week.

Ok, Ryoko gets a bit of screen time in action mode and so does Washu.

But by now I'm convinced they're just throwing random stuff at a dartboard full of ideas and animating whatever gets hit.

The series does reflect the course of the first Tenchi series, Ryo-Ohki, Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo.   One of the producer's mistakes is not connecting the Feudal Period and Modern  timelines in a flow which helps to explain the story.   If there is going to be a regular series, there will have to be a minimum of three episodes to explain what's happening in the Feudal Period timeline.

The most important clue to the series is Tenchi's own sword the TENCHI.  Right now, there seems to be two TENCHI swords.  IF there are  two TENCHI swords present, there is a time paradox.  Ukan Kuriahra had express an interest  in the TENCHI.
