[Trace Carter]

Suddenly there was a knock at the door to the arcade.

[paladin313]

"Wait," said Hild, "I thought the place was closed."

[Trace Carter]

"It is," said Z, "should I check to see who it is?"

[paladin313]

"Yes, find out, please."

[Trace Carter]

Z walked to the front of the arcade and unlocked the door.  When he opened the door, he saw the nine muses standing there.
"Um, hi," said Z, "May I help you?"

"Yes," said Calliope, "we heard about the VR game experience that you have here and wanted to see it."

[paladin313]

Hild could not believe it.  She fidgeted and said, "Oh, lovely to see you.  How's Zeus been doing?"

[Trace Carter]

"Last we saw, Hera had him in the doghouse again," said Clio, "it was for the usual reasons."

[paladin313]

"Heh...reminds me of someone I know," Muttered Hild in return.

[Trace Carter]

Z chuckled, "if you want to see the VR game, then I can show it to you."

"Thank you," said Clio.

[paladin313]

Hild followed, afraid these girls will cause disaster.

[Trace Carter]

Z showed them the machine, "I built it with spare parts and used runes to infuse it with some of my illusion casting powers to create a VR experience," he explained as the muses examined the machine.

"Most interesting," said Euterpe, "what is the power source?"

"A magical core," said Z

Hild began to sweatdrop a bit, wondering just why they were interested in such things, and what they would do with such knowledge.

[Trace Carter]

"Why did you build it?" asked Pollymnia.
"I thought it would bring in customers," shrugged Z, "and it did."

[paladin313]

"And, oh, the emotions they exert in their efforts," said Hild, "The shares it builds..."

[Trace Carter]

the muses glanced at her, "normally we couldn't allow something like this to remain in the hands of Hell."
