"Wait...  Where are you going?"

[Auir]

"I'm going somewhere?"

(Sorry...  Didn't track the dialogue.)

"Wait, if you want to build a boat, what a better place to do it than in the City of Ships?" said Ian, "There's a whole shipyard right over there.  They already have the parts you want, you just have to put them in the right configuration."

[Auir]

"No no, that's not the problem. It's the time. 4 months is the fastest I can go." said Skuld.

[paladin313]

He pondered, and then said, "Not unless we do something magical to convince the builders to give us what we want.  Then, we can have a sub in a matter of days."

[Trace Carter]

"I can do that."

[paladin313]

"With Skuld's help," said Urd, "And the workers, it then could be a matter of hours."

[Auir]

"A submarine being built at the fastest speed possible with a full construction team takes 9 months. 4 months is adding in my help. At normal speeds it takes 2 to 5 years."

[paladin313]

"What if I helped," asked Belldandy, "Perhaps I could gain the aid of some of Heaven's builders.  I am certain they could get the job done."

[Auir]

"Well, 4 months is with a 24 hour construction day. If they can fly, that'll cut down the time by maybe 25%?"

[paladin313]

(You're not going to let me have the sub, are you?)

"Look," Said Ian, "With the swiftness of the current, we'd be swept down river quicker than you can think if we tried to scuba."

[Auir]

(A submarine. In a river. The pollution it causes. One direction line of sight. This is supposed to be hard sci-fi/fantasy isn't it?)
"Hmm, how fast is the current?"

"Why don't you just turn bampei into an amphibious unit?"
