"this is the first working lighthouse I've seen."

"You're kidding.  They're all over the world."

[Trace Carter]

"I haven't been all over the world."

[Auir]

"Strategically placed too." nodded Skuld.

When they came out, the shipyard was clearly seen, along with the two bridges.  Ian said, "The one with the towers used to be a combination road and train bridge.  They then built that modern one beside it, and only use the old one for trains."
     They then saw Big Bertha, which dominated the skyline.

"Any Idea how to stop the water?" asked Z

[paladin313]

"Simple," said Lind, "We have to find Jord and talk her out of whatever she's doing."

[Trace Carter]

"I meant how do we contain the tide until then?"

[Auir]

"How do you contain millions of gallons of water?"

[Trace Carter]

"Build a dam or a levy...or a dike for that mater," said Z.

"Um...you gonna put a bulwark over the whole coast?"

[Trace Carter]

"Tell me," said Z, "how skilled are you with your earth powers?  You think you could make some Tsunami walls?"

[paladin313]

"I can only pass through rock," he answered, "I control elemental states only right now: solid, liquid, and gas.  I haven't mastered plasma yet; I had some--how would you say--explosive results with that?"

[Trace Carter]

"I see," said Z, "can you explain what you mean by controlling elemental states?  can you transmute?"

[paladin313]

"I haven't been able to change elemental spots on the table if that's what you mean," he responded, "Adding and removing electrons and protons is yet a bit beyond me.  Besides all that, if I tried to take away, or worse, add to the nucleus right now..."
     Urd chimed in and said, "How would you like to see Tokyo go up in a mushroom cloud?"
