(How fast do you think the waters are rising?  It is going to be slow and gradual over many days.  By the way, it's "Bath," not Baths.  It is called the City of Ships because, at one time, it was a major shipbuilding city, and still has one major shipyard that builds naval ships.)

(I don't know, but if it already risen 3 feet then the ships in the harbors would be affected along with shoreline buildings. If you mean 3 feet a day, then it might have risen a bit more. Maybe a couple millimeters or two.)

As they came up river, they came to a 90 degree bend, went on for about 500 yard, and then turned back again 90 degrees.  There was a small lighthouse on the second bend about 12 feet tall, but looked like a full-sized lighthouse, and he said, "That's Doubling Point Light."

"Oh yes," he said, "It's a Coast Guard ran official lighthouse because of this bend in the river."
