"You tell me," he said, "I haven't been around here as long as they."

"Well, I guess what you're going through now is normal." said Skuld.

"*Sigh* ANd I thought just coming to Japan would disrupt things in life."

"I find it refreshing," said Z

(The next day...)

It was Popham Beach, on the mouth of the Kennebec River, that she arrived.  She looked around and was not satisfied with all of what she considered blight along the coast.  She saw the summer homes of many rich people set in a fashion that she knew would eventually crash into the ocean due to erosion.  As she moved up the coast, she saw the piers, fishing villages, and whatnot, and she said, "This is affecting everything.  It all has to go."
     She eventually came to the shipyard just up the Kennebec, and she was horrified at the sight of all the cranes and steel, and she worried just what was getting dumped into the water.  "Oh this all has to go!"
