"Loki maybe," Groaned Urd, hoping never to have seen that straw hat and Hawaiian shirt any time soon.

[Trace Carter]

"Do I have permission to get him back when earth is not in danger?" asked Z eagerly

[Auir]

"Yes, you you do." said Skuld.

"it's right up ahead. The source is originating from something up ahead."

[Trace Carter]

Z smiled, "this will be fun. But back on topic."
Z looked for something that could be causing the effect.

Meanwhile, some of the souls were waking, telling them to shush, and wish they would just lie down like the rest of them and not disturb them.

[Auir]

Up ahead. They saw a large device with complex controls and a large keypad.

[Trace Carter]

Z looked over the device.

[Auir]

It was a large machine similar to those typical doomsday devices built by mad scientists in superhero movies. There was a small screen showing the outline of the Earth and a ring around it. There was a single line of text saying,
"Deactivate anti-gravitational ring? Y/N"

"I don't like it," said Ian, "This is way too easy."

[Auir]

It just kept flashing that single line, steadily and without stop.

"What? What does it say? What is it?" asked Skuld.

[Trace Carter]

"It's asking us if we want to turn it off."

[Auir]

"... Wait, what?" she said in disbelief.

[Trace Carter]

"It's too easy," said Z, "the moon may break out of orbit or fall from the sky."

[Auir]

"I'm starting to be convinced that it really was Loki. Is there anything else?"

[paladin313]

Ian described the machine, and then said, "It keeps asking if we wish to deactivate the anti-gravity ring.  Like I said, that's just too easy.  I'd be afraid that, if we did, the moon may have already moved away too far to have earth's gravity to keep it in place."
