"It's nice, these waves... Isn't it?"

"Man, this is like an ongoing water roller coaster!" he answered, "And the hills are never the same twice...  Whoa!" as the next went past and they shot forward.  Soon, they were back where they started and he said, "Okay, let's hit it again!"

[Auir]

"Heh heh, okay!" laughed Skuld as she began to paddle really hard again, determined to be the first one out there.

[paladin313]

"Careful," he said, "We don't want to go too far.  If we go to the deep part, well, you just learned how to tread water and dog paddle..."

[Auir]

Skuld shot him a stare and kept on paddling.

[paladin313]

"Sorry," he said, "I don't want to see you drown," not stopping to think that she was immortal, and could either used the water to teleport somewhere else, or just walk out.

[Auir]

Once they reached a certain distance, she stopped.

[paladin313]

"Okay, here we go again!" he said, loving every minute of it, and feeling it was that much more special with Skuld by his side.

Urd finished, handed off the board and said, "Okay, little brother, go for it!"

Z smiled and got on.  He was doing almost as good as Urd had.  Z did a few tricks while riding the wave.

[Auir]

She sat there and enjoyed the slow, rhythmic motion of the waves.

However, there were more eyes fix on Urd than on him.

The music system had been playing surf music, and just got done with "Surfin USA," and now was playing the Beach Boys' "Surfer Girl" romantic ballad.

Z was enjoying himself and didn't mind that Urd had all the attention.
