Hild was ready to fight tooth and nail for him while Urd stood on the edge of a decision that could get her made a surface trainee for a millenium.

[Trace Carter]

Z was torn.  he wanted to be with Urd again but he didn't want to ruin his relationship with his mother either.

Urd started to reach for her bracelets...

(And that's not going to make him act?)

[Trace Carter]

"STOP!" said Z, "I don't want any more fighting.  If there is a way we could end this with everyone being happy, I choose that."

[paladin313]

"Come with me," said the two in stereo, followed by, "No, not her, me!"

[Trace Carter]

"Isn't there a way to meet in the middle?" asked Z

[paladin313]

Again in stereo, "No, there isn't...will you stop talking over me?"

[Trace Carter]

Z sighed, "then seal me." he said.

[paladin313]

"What!" said Hild, "You've been set free!  Don't do this to yourself!"

[Trace Carter]

"I love you both," said Z, "but I can't choose between you."

[paladin313]

Urd managed to dodge past Hild and held onto him, saying, "That demon is only half of you, but you can learn to use that half for good things.  It will give you strength to do things most gods, goddesses, and demis can't or won't do because of who they are.  I can because of who I am.  I've learned to embraced that half, but it doesn't have to rule me.  You rule it.  Believe me, Z, the Z that is you can be its master!"

[Trace Carter]

"I just don't want you two to fight because of me."

[paladin313]

"Never mind that," said Hild, "Do you really believe that drivel she said about controlling the demon in you?  Come on, now: just because she sold me out doesn't mean you have to."

[Trace Carter]

"Can't you two even try to get along?"

[paladin313]

"If you only knew the history, child," said Hild, "Her father corrupted her against me."
     "That's not true at all and you know it!" she retorted, "You dumped me off with him and disappeared!"
