[Trace Carter]

Z screamed again, "I didn't think that would happen.  I know that our side would suffer from death too!" he gasped, "I know the basics of the doublet!"

[paladin313]

"She didn't know it was my sister!" she snapped, "She thought her a mortal at first!  If that had happened..."

[Trace Carter]

"I don't want us to be enemies," said Z.

[paladin313]

"Then you should have thought of that before selling out to mo...  ugh... Hild!" she snapped, "She's going to corrupt you completely and turn you against us!  She may play nice, but she is also our enemy!"

[Trace Carter]

"what do you mean our enemy?" asked Z, "I'm a Cambion, not a demigod."

[paladin313]

"Then...YOU'RE MY ENEMY NOW!" she screamed, blowing him down the beach, "Z WAS MY BROTHER!  I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!"

[Trace Carter]

Z tried to get to his feet, but his body had taken a lot of damage from her attacks.

She knew not to kill him, because he was family despite her statement, and she knew the doublet system would cost some demigod out there to lose his life, (not being permitted to remember he was paired with Ian.)

[Trace Carter]

Z's skin was burnt and he was barely able to get to his knees, "it's a shame,"

"What is a shame--he who looks and acts like my brother but is not!"

[Trace Carter]

"I always thought of you as my sister," said Z, "even now, you and mom are the only family I have left.  It's a shame it has to be this way.  I hoped we could be a family one day if even for a moment."

[paladin313]

"You don't understand the danger of that!" she spat, "If I were to acknowledge Hild for what she is, then I would completely turn to the demon-side, and the fates will be out of whack!  I would lose my sisters!  All Hell would literally break loose on this world!  I have seen what I would be if that happened..._{and I never want to again.}  For us to be a family, I would have to acknowledge certain things about Hild and me, and that would spell the end of the world as we know it.  It is never going to happen."

[Trace Carter]

Z tried to get to his feet but his legs gave way and he fell to his knees again, "I liked the time we spent together."

[paladin313]

"Its not too late," she said, "Come back to us, and we can be your family."

[Trace Carter]

"I'm a demon," said Z, "I don't have a place among the divine."
(though they can try and seal his demonic side again, making him less powerful, but awakening his human conscience.)
