The guide was shouting, "Off the bus!  We have to have high ground quickly!"
Belldandy was trying to assess what to do.

Z smirked at the chaos.

Skuld followed the crowd to high ground.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

Lava was going everywhere, but what was odd was that the lava was only going to the area where they were and flowing nowhere else.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Very peculiar land formation." said Skuld.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

They found a small hill, and now they were on a land island surrounded by lava, but it was not such a big hill that, if they were stuck there, the hill would melt away.  It was as if they had been hearded there...  They even watched the tour bus go by, and melt into the rock.  Women were crying, and holding tight their frightened children.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

(whoa whoa whoa, land doesn't 'melt' away. >.>)
Skuld huddled closer to the group.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

(Wouldn't flowing lava slowly wear away their small hill?  It is not that big, and they are all packed on it and huddled together.  I should have mentioned that.)

(Lava is around (Cooling)700 to (Fresh)1,200 °C. Remember for most of that lava to remain molten, that energy must remain in that lava. To 'melt' land, it would have to give up more than half its energy, dropping it to >600 where you already have quartz, K-feldspar, Na-plagioclase, micas, etc. forming. Since there's no real melting point for soil,  to 'melt' mud or very fine sand, the temperature of the mud itself would have to be at at least 1650°C.
If it was a small hill and the lava flow was large enough, it would simply flow over it not melt it away.)
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"the share will be huge," said Z with glee.

(Essentially, they are trapped.)

Yet, the lava kept flowing, and there was a danger that it would start to get higher as the flow was not stopping at all!

(How's that?)
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

(would the Lava be able to kill the goddesses?)

"Onee-sama, what should we do?" asked Skuld as she pulled herself closer to the group.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"I cannot fly everyone out!" she said, "I do not know what to do!"
Yet, as an answer to prayer, out of one of the hardened pieces of rock came Ian!  (remember him?)  As everyone stared, shocked, he said, "Lind helped me find my mode of travel, and what kind of things I can control, and I wanted to come and tell you...  Uh, this doesn't look right."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"dang, forgot about the demigod," said Z, "mom's not going to be happy."
