Everyone laughed as the guide said, "If I accidentally walked on this, a-a would probably be what I would be saying as I jumped around in pain--ah! ah! ah!"
     She even pretended to be trying to get off it as fast as she could.

"Really? You sure it's not a siiiiiiiiiiihh?"

Everyone was laughing again, and the guided said, "All I am saying in a humorous way is that aa is named this because of what I just said.  Besides, if you told me to walk on it, I'd say, no, or, 'ah-ah!' as well!"

("Ah-ah, is being said in a "nuh-uh!" kind of way.)

She nodded and laughed.

"I understand."

"This whole area used to be an inhabited area until Mona Loa had its eruption back in 1984.  Ahead of us is the two active vents of Kilauea.  We can get pretty close.  We have just built a new observation point, so we should be okay.  Be ready, though, because the smell is great.  If you feel sick or overwhelmed, go inside the building on the grounds."

She nodded and followed the group.

As they approached, they could smell that sulfur smell, and it was getting hotter.

[Auir]

Skuld fanned herself and drank a bit from her water bottle.

Sentaro was pinching his nose and said, "Boy, it smells like rotten eggs!"

[Auir]

"Yeah, it smells doesn't it?" agreed Skuld.

[paladin313]

They got to a point and found a red, hot, glowing river of molten rock moving fast.

[Auir]

Skuld took a picture.

[paladin313]

She started commenting on how a volcano works, the vent on which the island sits, the six volcanoes of the island if you include the new vent, but there seemed to be a Hawaiian woman standing a bit a part from them, watching.

Skuld didn't notice the women, as since it wasn't in her current field of interest.
