Z left the beach, 'funny, I thought they would recognize me.' he thought.

[Auir]

"Eh? That person...." she frowned mentally.

[paladin313]

The local said, "Don't worry: the board is stable, and you're going to love it!"

[Auir]

"Alright, alright."

[paladin313]

He got her waist deep and then told her to lay on her stomach and perfectly still at the front of the board.  He lay right behind her, just over her buttocks, but not touching her and began to paddle out.

[Auir]

She hung on with every last bit of strength she had while trying to maintain a cool composure.

[Trace Carter]

Z headed to the hotel.

[paladin313]

(Sorry, Z, but we'll get to you.)

He then turned the tail end to the waves, and waited for his set.  About five waves went by, each one getting bigger.

[Auir]

"Hey uhh, aren't we getting a bit higher each time?" she asked.

[paladin313]

"That's the point, Nani Wahini!" he said, "We have to have it big enough to ride!"

[Auir]

"Eeeeehhh?!"

[paladin313]

He let the sixth one go, hoping it was not the last in the set, and then he smiled to see #7 the perfect wave.  He smiled and said, "Hold on, little one!" and started to paddle fast as the wave rolled under them.

[Auir]

She held on with all her might.

[paladin313]

He stood up, and because the board was so big, it was actually rather stable.  He then turned the board and rode the wave.  Because it was so big, the movement of it was broad and gentle.

[Auir]

Skuld was practically glaring at the board, not believing that it was stable and tensing for any notion of falling off.
