Skuld watched from the shore.

Belldandy came up and said, "Skuld, who are you watching?"

(You'd have to ask Trace about that.)

"Sentaro. He's surfing for the first time."

[Trace Carter]

(you bet there is.  great food.   if by hawaii you mean o'ahu.)
Z caught another wave.

"I wonder why he cannot stay on his board?" she asked, and then began to say, "O wind and son of the breeze, steady our loved one as he seeks to enjoy your cooling touch."
     Suddenly, Sentaro seemed very steady, and no matter what happened, he was able to stay up, and now got a huge smile on his face.

Z raised an eyebrow and noticed the others had arrived.

(Huh... Guess it's true that Hawaii has a large Asian/Pacific Islander group.)

"Onee-sama, isn't that cheating?"

[Trace Carter]

(That's why there's so many japanese stores and restaurants.)

[Auir]

(99 Ranch is chinese though. I believe a third of the population in Hawaii has chinese ancestry.)

(really?  it's just a giant food court with lots of different foods.  sushi, curry, Vietnamese, local, japanese...)

"Will it really?" she wondered.

Before long, he was not tipping any, and was riding the wave on his own.  In fact, he was starting to do stuff he'd do on his skateboard, eyes wide, and grinning all the way.
