Urd's face paled for a second.

"Y-Yeah. that might be a good idea." Urd said.

[Auir]

A few minutes later, Skuld's voice came through.

"I don't know... I don't know what's wrong... There can't be anything wrong with my device... It keeps saying he has none."

[Trace Carter]

Z knocked on the door, "can I interrupt for a second?  I need to ask Mr. Malek something and head to work."

[HotelKatz]

"Uh, yeah, just a second!" Urd said, before taking Skuld's device off Mini-Malek and hiding it.

She then shook Mini-Malek awake.

"Huh, wha..." Mini-Malek muttered, as he rubbed his eyes.

"Z wants to talk with you." Urd said. "You can come in, Z!"

[Trace Carter]

"I was wondering if you could teach me a spell to create randomly moving drone targets for a spell I'm working on?" Z asked walking in, "Um what's that Nee-sama?"

[HotelKatz]

"I'll tell you later. I gotta go see Skuld." Urd said, before leaving.

"Yes, I do know such a spell. So does Deberk. Unlike most of the beginner spells, it requires a few specific hand gestures to program them. How about after the doublet ceremony, either I or Deberk teach you it?" Mini-Malek said, as he took something out of his pocket. It was a Tiny-Malek.  After Mini-Malek absorbed it, Mini-Malek smiled and muttered, "So that's what Urd was trying to do..."

(I also have to remember what happens in the ceremony and what needs to be said...)

"What was she doing?" asked Z

(I'll check tomorrow around the Welsper chapters for that info, Paladin313.)

"The device was something to discover musical weaknesses." Mini-Malek said. "She had knocked me out with a sleeping potion, but didn't factor in that I'm one paranoid git."

"Ok," said Z, "I need to get to work," he said walking out.
(I was thinking he bumps into urd or skuld and the helmet lands on his head.)

[HotelKatz]

(or he confronts Urd and Skuld for doing something sneaky and underhanded towards Malek, especially while he's helping them. Urd says it was to have an ace in the hole in case of a major problem later. Z asks to see the device and wants to know if it even works.)

Z walked over to the room Urd and Skuld were in.

"Nee-sama, Skuld, may I ask why you tried to trick Malek and find out his weakness when he has done nothing wrong?"

[Auir]

"E-eh? What do you mean?" asked Skuld, feigning innocence.

[Trace Carter]

"I was wondering why Mr Malek said you put him to sleep and tried to scan his weakness." Z said angrily.
