'From the memories that my main self sent me, he seems like the kinda guy likes to face challenges. He also seems to share a few traits with his girlfriend. Quick to taunt their opponents, but plays fair.' Mini-Malek thought-sent.

"Okay, are you going to have him compete, or help?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'I believe Proter is competing. My main self plans on offering Proter the ability to temporarily hear any vehicle that he touches as a way to even things up with Keiichi, since Keiichi will be having the supernatural help of Skuld and Belldandy.' Mini-Malek thought-sent.

"Odd you say that," she said, "I always knew her to be one of fair play...Bell, that is...and she only used it to counter foul play."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'I don't know what my main self is intending. For all we know, he might be intends on making it look like we're using magic to cheat, so that Belldandy will try to use her magic to make things fair, only to find out too late that we weren't cheating at all.' Mini-Malek thought-sent.

"Ooh...that would be fun!"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'Yes, it does sound like quite a bit of fun. But what do we do if she doesn't fall for it? Ask her what would have happened if it wasn't a trick, but in a way that makes her feel bad? It'd be a good idea to go with a plan that guarantees that no matter we win or lose, we walk away with a victory.' Mini-Malek Thought-sent.

"Well, do you think you can handle that?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'My main self is the one handling the thing with Proter. For all I know, My main self might simply only be there to see if he can make a deal with Proter, and then later ask Belldandy just how fair is it that Keiichi and only a few others in the race receive supernatural help that no one else is getting.' Mini-Malek Thought-sent.'Honestly, I'm not even sure if my main self is even considering the thought of trying to trick Belldandy into cheating. Shall I try to contact my main self?'

"Well, I would be coordinating."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"That's good to know.' Mini-Malek thought-sent. He then sent out a contact thought to Malek

'Yes, what is it?' Malek thought-sent.

'Are you setting up a plan to trick Belldandy into cheating?" Mini-Malek thought-sent.

'In my opinion, there's no point in it.' Malek thought-sent.

'Why?' Mini-Malek thought-sent.

'Because if it fails, it fails and we gain nothing out of it.' Malek thought-sent.

"Well, what about this racer?  Could we make it look like we were cheating?  Belldandy always acts to counter such things, but if she is caught, we destroy her reputation, threaten her license, and even maybe split the pair up, though by the new contract, their binding is a bit more solid."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'The Racer is a bit of a Jerk, but seems to obeys the rules. I have a bit of a suspicion that Proter and Keiichi might wind up becoming friends after all is said and done. That's why I plan on offering an ability that is more useful out of the race, for our side to at least walk away with something.' Malek thought-sent. 'As for making it look like we were cheating, that plan is more or less doomed to fail. Ms. Happy Hippie seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to anything dealing with Keiichi or competitions. Besides, if we were to make it look like we were cheating, Urd or Skuld are more likely to counter-cheat to try to make things fair.

But if Belldandy were to be caught cheating, I'd put my money on her powers being heavily restricted, instead of anything else. And considering how little magic she uses for doing chores, it's not much of a punishment for her. I'd also put my money on the punishment being lifted the moment we try anything against the temple or its inhabitants. '

"Then you have to talk some sense to your avatars, because they seem to think up foolish things."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

'Yes, They do. I think that may be a sign that I never should have stepped down from your personal security forces. I'm getting bored enough that my avatars are becoming silly. Ah well, live and learn.' Malek thought-sent. 'Oh, when I make the deal, is there any particular restaurant that you want a reservation for, Lady Hild?'
