"Hey, Skuld. Malek's removing the bad luck clip that our recent 'guest' left in the beemer." Urd said.

They explained to her about the girl that tormented Bell and left all the trinkets behind that could cause harm to K1, especially the seeming endless number of them in his bike.

[HotelKatz]

"Just letting you know, making a vaccum to remove them would be bad. some of the bad luck clips might break while they were being sucked out, their magical energy then would enter the beemer, and the purification spell would then be extended." Mini-Malek said.

"How many are there?" Urd asked, clearly getting annoyed at Mini-Malek. "I'm beginning to think you're purposely working slow."

"I'm being cautious and making sure there aren't any other traps." Mini-Malek said. "But if you feel I'm working too slow, feel free to help."

"Oh, that's great." she nodded.

"By the way, I have your device ready."

"Good. Let's go to your room, so you can tell me how it works." Urd said, as she summoned the two cartons of ice cream that she promised Skuld. The two cartons appeared in a bag that Urd was holding.

[Auir]

Her eyes instantly lit up when she saw the ice cream.

"This way!" she said and disappeared. All that could be heard was a thudding of footsteps fading away into the house.

"Doesn't take much to make that girl happy," said Ian.

Urd followed after Skuld.

There was a large machine on the floor and cables connecting to a Banpei cap.

"Is this it?" Urd asked.

[Auir]

"Yep! The scanner is actually wireless, you can detach it." said Skuld, holding up the Banpei cap. With a pop*, she removed the cables attached to it.

[HotelKatz]

"Now we'll have an ace in the hole against Malek." Urd said as she handed Skuld the ice cream.

Keiichi passed by and said, "Don't forget the drones, and the repairs of the track."

Several depression lines hung over Skuld's head while looking down at her feet.

"I know..."

The smells of dinner began to waft through the house.
