She looked at him and said, "Gifts?"

"As in the extremely bad kind. Like cursed items or magical items that have too high a cost." Mini-Malek said.

"Then let's get looking.  I'll find Ace: we need his nose."

[HotelKatz]

"Right. I'll go check Keiichi's beemer, since Z made a bit of a prophecy about it. " Mini-Malek said. "Ian, go tell the others that a search is being done."

Ace was sleeping outside, under a tree.

He nodded and saw Ace, saying what was up.

[HotelKatz]

"It has been awhile since I've been on a case." Ace said, before starting to sniff out for any foreign magical energy signatures.

Once reaching the beemer, Mini-Malek had split into even tinier Maleks and began to look inside the beemer.

Ian followed closely.

After some searching, one of the tiny Malek found an odd clip near the beemer's seat. He did a scan spell on it.

'The charm would have gone off tomorrow. It would have reversed the beemer's luck and would have caused the beemer to get into an accident. A darn good way to get pass the Utlimate force.' Tiny-Malek thought.

In the kitchen, Ian noticed a charm by the thawing chicken.

[HotelKatz]

"Found another one? That's now four we found in this room alone." Ace said. "Let's see... First one was making food spoil faster. Second was similar, but for drinks. The third did both."

Ace then did a scan spell on the charm Ian just found.

(It was a meat spoiler.)

[HotelKatz]

"A meat spoiler charm. " Ace said. "Bell will definitely not like what Kakarine has left..."

[paladin313]

"Is all the food bad, or was this to be tripped?"

[HotelKatz]

"My sense of smell tells me that the food is still fairly good to eat." Ace said.
