Kakarine then lightly smiled.

It brought chills down Urd's spine, because it was a similar smile that Hild often had when she was about to partially ruin something for someone for no real reason.

Kakarine opened her mouth but didn't say a word before closing it. Urd had gotten off her seat and was standing right next to Kakarine. Urd was holding an Urdbolt a few inches away from Kakarine's head. Urd also had a look of anger on her face.

"What?" Kakarine asked.

"What are you going to do?" Urd asked, through gritted teeth.

"I was going to ask a question, before you had gotten up to threaten me." Kakarine replied.

Belldandy observed the child's aura, for, if she was lying just now, it would show.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

It was chaotic. that meant either she was scared or was using a small series of magical pulses to hide any intention she has.

"My, oh my, Belldandy. It seems that I was wrongly told about your hospitality towards guests, if you're allowing Urd to hold one of her Urdbolts right next to my head." Kakarine muttered.

"Normally, I would protest," she said, "But your aura is all in a tither...I cannot tell if you are scared, or just covering something, which makes me wonder if Urd is partially justified."

"I choose a third option. I prefer having some privacy when it comes to my intentions." Kakarine said.

"Now Urd...we need to give her the benefit of the doubt."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

Urd slowly did as Belldandy asked and returned to her seat. Urd continued to glare at Kakarine.

"Shall I ask my question that I intended on asking?" Kakarine asked.

"Of course."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"I realize that I actually have two questions. Do you or Keiichi plan on having any children in the future? I'm curious." Kakarine asked.

"We were thinking about it until we met Z and Ian," she said.
"You talk like it's a bad thing, sis," said Ian.
"Oh, please forgive me," she said, "It was nothing like that.  I mean, to bring in a demigod to the world is not something that you do with happenstance.  Something like that has to be carefully planned.  We are waiting for that one."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"And there's also the fact that if any child of yours has the slightest possibility of a destiny to be a hero, you will be forced to leave your child, so as to prevent you from interfering with their destiny." Kakarine said.

"But...that is not necessarily true," said Belldandy, "It all depends on the need."
Ian cocked his head, not sure what that meant.

Kakarine tilted her head a little.

"But just about all Demi-gods have great destinies. It's very likely that you will have to leave Keiichi and your possible child, to prevent you from standing in the way of your possible child's destiny." Kakarine said. "At the most, you would be only able to help your possible child in the most indirect of ways."

'Just give me the word, Bell, and I'll throw Kaka-jerk out the door.' Urd thought-sent to Belldandy.

Belldandy was starting to become upset at this...something she knew was not entirely true...and outside, it suddenly turned stormy...

Kakarine looked out the window.

"And what's happening outside can be used as proof for you to leave your possible child." Kakarine said. "Keep it up and you might not even be allowed to help indirectly."
