"My name is Kakarine." Kakarine said. "And I think that I'm hungry."

"that's a nice name," said Z, "you know I was alone for a good part of my life too."

"Oh, you poor thing," and she was scooped up right away and brought in, Belldandy intending to put a full meal into the girl.

Z followed them in, feeling a sort of kinship with the child.

"This Kakarine girl... Something in her eyes is telling me that she is up to something. Something that I don't like...' Urd thought as she followed Belldandy.

Belldandy set her in the kitchen and started to use her magic to speed cook dinner.  (As we all know, she never shies away from using her magic openly.)

"So why did you come to our temple?" asked Z

"I wandered around and I felt like coming here." Kakarine replied.

"so you've been living on the street?"

"No, I've been sealed for some time." Kakarine replied.

Everyone in the room but Belldandy shuddered at the word "sealed."

K1 then said, "Sealed...does that mean that...you know...you're a...um..."

"Goddess? Demon? Neither. I am of the Pah 'reeni race. Perhaps the  Pah 'reeni are an offshoot species of either the Divine or the Demonic, perhaps not." Kakarine replied with a shrug.

Bell was near tears as she said, "Who could have been so cruel to seal you off like that?"
