"WHAAAAA!" cried Kei as Bell cried out in fear.  He then had to do some quick maneuvering to get out of the way.  Tamiya then waived the yellow flag, which meant the pace car would come out and they could keep racing until the reached the start/finish line.  They would then have to line up in the order they were when they crossed it.

"My instant-solidifying-jello-rockets!" beamed Skuld proudly.
The bear-faced pace car came out again.

However, the team were assessing the situation, and considering the amount of stuff on the track, Tamyia then flew the red flag, which meant, normally, they were to pull into the pits until the track was clear.  However, because they had already pulled out, the pace car was to stop them, and they were to stay there, in their cars, until the hazard was cleared.

"You can clear them away by hosing them down. They melt upon contact with water, pretty nifty huh?" said Skuld.

"Um...then we have to wait for the track to dry," said Chihiro, "We still have to put the red flag out...though something like that can happen in a race: a severe enough hazard that will not allow cars to run during the fix."

"Well, we better get started then!" said Skuld, jumping to her feet.

"Let's grab the hoses."

Everyone just stared at the odd girl, robotic ally handing her a hose as they followed with a couple more and with buckets of water.

Skuld turned on the hose and began to water down the giant jellos.

The substance cleared down the drain, but the track was still wet.

Now they had to wait for it to dry.

"Is there any way to dry it faster?" asked Sayo.
Belldandy started to mutter, and a warm breeze began to blow over the track.

Skuld and Banpei returned to the bleachers.

The track dried surprisingly fast, and Tamiya put the yellow flag back out, meaning they could proceed.

They drove Banpei #1 and Banpei #2 out onto the track.

They thus proceeded in line behind the pace car and Chihiro said, "Okay, on the third lap, pull away the pace car.  Tamiya will wave the green."
