"Hopefully, things will either get better of easier for all of us. But whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger." Urd said. "But I'd be careful around Hild for a bit, if I were you. Mara's liable to blame you for the deal failing and she might do whatever she can to slander you in Hild's eyes."

(I'm going to bed.)

[Trace Carter]

"Great," groaned Z, "first her avatar, now the real mom will be mad at me.  T_T)

[HotelKatz]

"If I remember right, Malek did calm down Hild by getting you to re-join her forces. Maybe you should see if you can get him to support you, just in case Mara tries anything?" Urd asked.

[Trace Carter]

"I will, thanks Nee-sama," said Z before teleporting to Malek's location.

Mara saw Bell and Kei in the crowd, and she disguised herself and went into the stands.  She came up like some tourist and said, "Say, ain't you that Japanese driver?  Can I have your autograph?"
     Suddenly, people started swelling around them, he tried to humbly deal with it, but Belldandy was getting lost in the crowd.

Z arrived at Hild's group and began to look for Malek

Malek was sitting in a corner, reading something on a Kindle.

(Sorry for not posting yesterday. Yesterday and today were hectic, but I'll be able to post more tomorrow.)

[Trace Carter]

"excuse me Mr. Malek, but I need a favor," said Z

[HotelKatz]

"what is it and how may I be of help?" Malek asked, facing Z.

[Trace Carter]

"I tried to make a deal with Mara, but I couldn't fulfill one of her conditions despite my best efforts and I'm worried mara will blame me and use this to make me look bad in mom's eyes.  I need your help in preventing that." said Z looking down.

[HotelKatz]

"Alright, I'll defend you, should Mara decide to start something to get Hild to punish you." Malek said.

[Trace Carter]

"so what do you want in return?" asked Z, "I mean you would need to be compensated, right?"

[HotelKatz]

"There is no need. If anything happens, it will be something along an argument or a debate. I enjoy those." Malek said.

[Trace Carter]

"thank you," said Z bowing, "I hope our teams can have a fair and somewhat clean race."

[HotelKatz]

"I believe they will." Malek said.

Deberk then walked up to Z.

"When you go back to your team, I'd like to tell what I've gotten from Malek." Deberk said to Z.
