Banpei #1 was in the lead now, followed by Keiichi and finally Banpei #2.

They were soon in a line, zooming around, lap after lap, K1 and Bell chattering back and forth instructions.  What Keiichi wondered was if those cars had a learning program...they learned what to do as they advanced.  That could make strategy sticky, but more realistic, as humans are far more unpredictable.

Skuld and Banpei sat on the sidelines, remote controlling the two Banpeis.

(Who has Chihiro?)

[Auir]

(I don't remember.)

[paladin313]

Chihiro came up and said, "They should be coming up for their first pit...fuel and tires.  Do you have something for that?"

[Auir]

"Ehh? Why would my Advanced Banpei bot X220 need fuel and tires? I built them to be long lasting!" said Skuld.

[paladin313]

"Well, you can simulate it...put them in for the average time a pit in NASCAR is done.  You've watched them practice, so you know how long...just make it random how long."

[Auir]

"Ehh, fine..." said Skuld as she began driving Banpei into the pit.

[paladin313]

K1 took the hint as he saw this and ducked in himself.  Chihiro then said, "Have the other car pit on the next lap.  I want to see what he does with that."

(who should control David Proter?)

[Auir]

"Fine fine, got it. Heard that Banpei-kun?" asked Skuld. Banpei nodded.

Keiichi pulled in and saw the other car still going.  He growled, but he knew he could catch up when it did finally have to duck in.

[Auir]

After waiting for some time, Skuld sped Banpei out of the pit and back onto the track.

K1's pit crew was a bit slower in that, so now he was behind, with Banpei 2 way out in front.
