"Mm!" she nodded with determination.

Keiichi eventually caught up and said, "So, how's it going, kiddo?"

(Gotta go...  If I don't see you tonight, I'll catch you tomorrow.)

[Auir]

"Great, hope it wins with the modifications I made."

[paladin313]

"Um...just out of sheer curiosity...what DID you do for mods," knowing this crew knew nothing about her...mods.

[Trace Carter]

(who was bell talking too?)

[Auir]

"Oh simple things here and there. I switched the rims to carbon fiber, switched the engine to a forced-induction type, added a supercharger compressor, and a intercooler. I actually wanted to put in a reaction engine instead but I wasn't sure how well NASCAR would accept a jet engine in a car..."

[paladin313]

"Well, this isn't NASCAR, and I don't think either league would accept that!  Are you sure what you added matches what Amercian La Mans would allow?" he asked as it was heard over the radio, "MY GOD...THIS THING IS HANDLING LIKE ONE OF THE PROTOTYPES!"

(Bell was talking to Z...separate conversation.)

[Trace Carter]

"Let's see," said Z, "we've removed and replaced enchanted parts ranging from mufflers to compressors that do various things ranging from speed enhancement to storing heat from engines so they won't overheat till the part stopps working."

[Auir]

"Yes yes, I'm sure. Street-legal correct?"

[paladin313]

"Street legal...yes."

[Trace Carter]

Placing a spell over the parts so that they would be hidden, Z went out to see how Skuld was doing.

[paladin313]

Bell followed, looking for Kei.

[Auir]

"Then we have nothing to worry about."

[Trace Carter]

"Hey Skuld," said Z walking up, "how're the cars doing under your care?"

[paladin313]

This was just as the announcer said, "Amazing...the Ford GP is leading the entire field, as well as its own class!  If this keeps up, we may have a first in a long time, but we have a long way to go."
