"No, probably not. She appeared roughly a month ago, made Belldandy cry, and also placed a trap to kill Keiichi. I diffused the trap and took the parts as payment." Malek said.

"Kill Kei!  HEY, I'd never go that far...although there was the Lord or Terror thing...but...well, that kind of got out of control..."

[HotelKatz]

"Yes, things did get out of hand for Heaven as well in that incident." Malek said. "Mara, the magic items inspection division is has studied the bad luck clips that Kakarine made. They may have made a trinket for you that makes you immune to anything that brings good luck."

"Really!" she said all wide-eyed, "Gimmie!"

Malek took out a simple bracelet out out his pocket and handed it to Mara.

She was all giddy!  She couldn't wait to have some fun now!  She then said, "Still, I would rather not see the kind of misfortune that she wants, but at the same time, I can't stop the shares from coming in...what do I do?"

[HotelKatz]

"Focus less on the goddesses for now, concentrate on some other targets. If the goddesses wind up in trouble they might not be able to handle well on their own, offer some help at a price." Malek said.

"Is the race tomorrow?"

(It's the American Le Mans series, and not Kei.)

(Just tell her what's racing...she'l take it from there.)

"I believe it's American Le Mans series..." Malek said with a shrug.

"Um...what's that?"
     Around them were specialized cars, Porsche, BMW, Fords, Lotus, Rolls Royce...and all itching for a long haul.  The track itself was altered.  Barriers were put up at certain points, which guided the cars onto side tracks that went into the infield, full of switchbacks and chicanes, making the track longer than the standard tri-oval, and more of a challenge.

"A series of endurance and sprint races,  created in the spirit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans." Male replied.

"So, they'll be doing this for 24 hours?  Insane!"
