"good point," said Z, "though I would like to learn more about the spell that was put on the parts."

"We'll find out when we have some time to study it. Let's head back." Urd said.

Z nodded and followed Urd back.

When Urd scanned the part, she learned it would have made the car accelerate a bit faster than normal.

"Huh, this woulda made the car accelerate faster." Urd said.

[Trace Carter]

"then when it stoppes working the car would slam into the one behind it and so on until there is a giant pile up of cars." Z said.

[HotelKatz]

"Actually, only the effect would only go away. The part would still work, but without the magic effect." Urd said.

[Trace Carter]

"what I meant is that if the car suddenly loses speed while another car is close behind, a crash will happen."

[HotelKatz]

"Yeah, That would have had a good chance of happening." Urd said.

[Trace Carter]

(did they get all the parts?)

(it would take a few days. We can have it be done in the background with their mini-selves.)

Z sent his avatar with instructions to secretly switch out the enchanted parts and headed back to the group.

Urd created some mini-Urds to go help Z's avatar before following Z.

(Meanwhile, in Japan....)

Mara had been out of touch with the others for a bit, and decided to sneak to the temple to see what was going on.  When she found everyone gone--even Banpei and Sigel--she was worried.  After some fleeting about, she discovered the Daytona race brochures and some flight information.  She was livid that they had gone and not asked her if she could go with them.  In a flash, she used her own travel method and appeared in the pits at that very moment!  The guards then shouted, "HEY!  WHO ARE YOU!"

Back at the arcade, Deberk's avatar shook his head.

"I tried telling her at dinner  over the last few nights, but she refused to listen..." He muttered.

Z saw mara when he was walking back. casting and illusion over the guards to make them forget about this, he grabbed Ma.ra's arm and draged her away, "Who exactly are you?" he demanded.
