"Yeeees, I did." said Skuld.

"Well, boys, we have a feisty one here," she said, "What mods did you want to make that were within the rules?"

"Well, I couldn't make any of the modifications I wanted due to the rules. No overdrives, no forced induction, no use special alloys for the chassis... That took out half the fun."

[Trace Carter]

"and made things a whole lot safer," mumbled Z as he worked under the car.

[paladin313]

"Well, perhaps you could work with some of the American La Mans teams that will be on the track tomorrow," she said, "They are going to be doing the 24 hours at Daytona, and such things are part of the race."
     "That's tomorrow?" said Kei excitedly, "Wow!  I'd love to watch that!"
     The reporter then said, "Well, after this is seen, they may just ask you to help."

"I'd love to." she grinned.

"Well just have to see," she said with a smile, and going back to Keiichi, she asked, "So, how did it feel to you?"
     "Well, the high banks were a new thing for me, but after understanding the physics of it, I was able to compensate and get it on my second lap.  I hope to get another chance later on."
     "What do you think the odds of you winning are?"
     "Well, rookies winning here are rare, but I'll give it my best shot, see how it goes, and if we score well, we'll have to see if we'll race the rest of the season."

'Hopefully Hild isn't trying to get Belldandy to reveal to the humans that Bell is a goddess. Recent rules were made to ensure that our presence among the humans is to remain a quiet one.' Urd thought.

     At this point, behind pit row, about six sets of six kinds of cars each were now unloading their cars and crews.

"no pressure K1," joked Z

"Oh no," he said, "That's a whole different class.  That is the American La Mans series."

[Trace Carter]

"I meant about what Ian said," said Z.

[paladin313]

"Hey, it's cool.  I mean, I'm the novelty here after all."

[Trace Carter]

"you're unique alright," laughed Z, "especially considering present company."

He wondered what Skuld was thinking of all the different makes in the series: three prototype models, GT Porsche, GTX...
