In the meantime, cameras were coming up to the group and a female reporter with a mic was approaching.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

Z was busy working on the car so he didn't see them.
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

The reporter began, "Well, Jim, I'm here at pit row, hoping to get a word with the rookie driver that just came off the track, Keiichi Morisato, fresh from Japan!  He is one of a handful of rookies, but the first Japanese driver ever to try for the Daytona.  Mr. Morisato, could we have a word with you?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

Z tapped Keiichi on he shoulder to let him know about the reporters.
"The secret to creativity is combining logic and science with Fantasy and fiction"

He bowed and said "Hello."  His English was passable enough, but you could tell it was not his first language.  "Well, I hear you used to do motorcycles and rally racing up to this point.  What made you decide on NASCAR?"
"Well, it was more of my friends' idea," he answered, "They saw it as a new challenge, and they are always looking for new areas in which to succeed."
"How different is this from rally?" she asked.
"Well, much different," he said, "Rally is all-terrain, and you race the clock, not each other.  Plus, there are no banks out there like that you see here!"
"How have you practiced for this?"
"We have special tech that made programmed drones, and we went on a mile track to test my skills."
     "Who is this tech?"
"A child prodigy," he said, pointing to Skuld, and he signaled her over.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

Skuld looked around and pointed at herself with a ??? face. She then took off her headset and jogged over.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"So, I hear you have been very helpful in helping Mr. Morisato in preparing for this.  I hear you actually created drones to do it!  Can you tell us some about it?"
She then aimed the mic at her.
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Why it was simple! I used spare parts around the house to create a vehicle capable of matching the speed of a car. During the training I just installed an AI into their on board CPU to take care of all the microadjustments required while racing. Meanwhile I was remote controlling the car from far away to provide that unpredictableness of a human and the skills of a professional driver." boasted Skuld proudly.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"Um...artificial intelligence?" she said with a quizzical look on her face, "Uh...not even the best scientists in the world have succeeded at this."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Fu fu, which is why I'm a prodigy." she grinned with her arms crossed.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"Well, careful how loud you brag that," she joked, "Certain folks in the Pentagon might find that very useful."
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Heh, I'm not afraid of them. My inventions are all backed up with a fail safe that will explode if it detects intrusion!"
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

The reporter was shocked.  She was now not sure what to do with her, and Keiichi cut in, saying, "In other words, its not for sale, and she has some diplomatic immunity: we don't want to start a war, do we?"
"Uh...well, anyway, do you work on the car as well?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.

"Yes, but only maintenance. He wouldn't let me make any modifications." she replied.
Denka! Kenshin-sama! Anata no kami no hogo o yokose!

"Well, NASCAR is very strict with the rules.  Did you get the chance to read them before working on the car?"
Fear is ignorance expressed through panic.
