Fuyou no hito bito is also listed if anyone is interested I am too broke at the moment for it myself

if anyone wants to know how to find the novels and other books on amazon just ask me i actually know where to find basicly all of them now easily orderable on american amazon and ebay

I recently also ordered tenchi 101 and the 3 photon novels so i can attempt some manual translations from those eventually tenchi 101 has a whole untranslated part at the end where they show off all the pre production ideas for the show it seems.

Also i have a physical copy of GXP 15  on preorder. turns out you can have it shipped here directly from amazon japan/

oh i know i have 101 translated on my website but theres an untranslated section and its huge so its better if i have a physical copy by the time i actualy get around to translating it i should have a good enough grasp on kanji to just read it...  im talking like a year from now timeframe. i got it as a sort of practice material challenge for myself

okie dokie i got them in and sad to say there's not much new in what i got there laid out a bit differently from syouran but  fuyou no hitobito is definitely in there it covers all of ova 1 episode 4. sadly at my current level of reading the only thing i could understand in it off the bat was the fan comics inside of tenchi getting jizz all over sasami...  there is definately a lot of things in it though that don't appear in syouran... ill post pics later. i need to double check i the text is the same it may just have some of the same illustrations there's a really great one of mihoshi that isn't in syouran.

as for shupanroku nothing visibly illistrated in it about photon. it seems to all be a lot about here comes jurai. i've seen some of the illustrations before.

These things are beautiful the covers are bound like thin graphic novels with a nice gloss i thought they'd be comic paper. i don't want to exactly scan what i got because id have to destroy this reaaaaaaaaly nice book but i can translate it much easier with the book in the room with me so i will probably translate and take pictures and add in scans of the illustrations.

And now you know my dilemma. Welcome to my world.

That said, they are large enough that you can scan them without permanently damaging them, but you've got to be careful and there will be some blurred imaging and cutoff. The spine on my copy of Souran is not damaged. But, I had a hell of a time individually scanning all 180pages of it. It took a hardback book, black sheet of construction pager, several old hard drives to weigh down each page and my hand applying some additional pressure to keep the spine from pulling up anymore than it already was. And my scanner scans 600dpi very slow, so I had to stand there as each page scanned. Fucking brutal.

BTW if you think those are nice, just wait til you get your hands on one of the Heisei issues. The covers are semi-translucent plastic and every page from all of his doujinshi beyond that is simply amazing. Especially Kamidake Onsen 10&11, the quality of which rivals Tenchi Illustrations 1&2, which are the two professional grade hardback art books.
