"Another test," she said, "What do you foresee as the outcome if case #3 is the truth?"

[Trace Carter]

"Then," said Kazi, "the end of all things is coming sooner than I thought."

[paladin313]

"Not really," she said, "Tyr would have let me know.  Yet, they are trying to do something I read in a great human book."

[Trace Carter]

"which book was that?" asked Kazi.

[paladin313]

"Curious," she said, "Have you ever read, 'The Stand', the unabridged version?"

[Trace Carter]

"I don't believe I did," said Kazi.

[paladin313]

"Seems to connect," she said, "You have a demon who tries to bring judgment day before it was called for."

[Trace Carter]

"Oh," said Kazi, "well if that's what's happening here, then we're in a lot of trouble, right?"

[paladin313]

"Indeed," she said, "And we are going to need all the help we can get."

[Trace Carter]

"We calling in Marler, and those girls that tried to oust you?" asked Kazi

[paladin313]

"We'll need more than just that, I'm afraid," she said, "But, let's let them finish their little party before we talk to them.  We do have that much time at least."

[Trace Carter]

"do you think I'll have to release my limiters?" asked Kazi, "Last time I ended up blowing up an extinct volcano."

[paladin313]

"That, as always, is a last resort," she said, "This is because, if all involved did this, then the world would split into five easy pieces."

[Trace Carter]

Kazi nodded, "What do we need to do, mom?"

[paladin313]

"Explain this to the other side and get their help," she answered, "We have no choice."
