[Trace Carter]

"I don't think I'd want to change sides," said Kazi, "Mom raised me and took care of me, I can't just leave."

[Auir]

"Whoa there big bro, on your shoulders?!" exclaimed Skuld, latching on for dear life.

[paladin313]

"Yeah," he answered, "Or you can just lay flat on the board and let me do the work."
     He grabbed a big borad more akin to what they used in the sixties where she could lay on the front and get a thrill.  "Just trust me to balance, and we'll have some fun!"
     He thought for a moment and said, "And if you are that trusting, when I take you to Ben & Jerry's tomorrow, we can share their ultimate dessert: the Vermonster!"

Bell smiled and said, "I understand, but, as long as this is neutral ground, you have a haven here if you ever need it."

[Trace Carter]

Kazi shook his head, "too many valkyries."

[paladin313]

"But, that is why it is neutral ground," said Bell, "And, besides, only two come here normally: Lind, to train Ian, and Chrono, who I think, well, let us face it, has a crush on Ian."

[Trace Carter]

"Doesn't mean I feel comfortable being around the one wing valkyrie," said Kazi, "if I ever tick her off, she can take me apart without breaking a sweat."

(Are we gonna do the Surtr arc I suggested?)

"Father would never wish that," she said, "For it would be our side breaking the rules.  However, you never know what Yggdrasil has up its sleeve.  The 'Tree' of fate has a funny way of bringing things together."

[Trace Carter]

"I guess," said Kazi.

[paladin313]

"Then have a good night," she said, "And I shall let the others know you had some things to tend to."

[Trace Carter]

Kazi nodded and teleported away.

When he returned, he found his mother there reading the latest newspaper from Nifelheim.  "So, how was the party?" she said without even looking up.

[Trace Carter]

"It was fun," said Kazi.

[paladin313]

"I'm sure she spoiled you rotten," she said, again not looking up, she knowing he would understand to whom she referred.

[Trace Carter]

"She was as sweet and kind as always," said Kazi, "made me itch."

Skuld paused and weighed her options. Nodding with resolution she said, "Alright, I trust you. Let's do this!"
