Ian stifled a chuckle as she sang "There's no window," instead of "Past your window."  He wondered if this was going to deteriorate, or if she was going to nail the song.  Belldandy, however, looked right at her and gave her the loving look of confidence that Skuld had always leaned on for centuries.

And deteriorate it did, however spurred on by Belldandy's confident look Skuld paid no mind to it and continued.

"You got something for me... Oh! I got a brand new pair of bowling skates while you get a brand new key..."

When she was done, she took a bow with a brightly flushed red face.

Everyone there began to get the snickers and getting ready to laugh but was quickly stifled with a glare from Belldandy to the rest of them.  Nonetheless, they all politely applauded, but the snickers, elbowing, and pointing was still going on.  Ian, who had previously been amused, now saw how the crowd was reacting and didn't like it much at all, hoping they didin't burst out in laughter, especially the biggest one there.  Pondering for a minute, he walks over and says, "Toraichi, you're next!"
     He nodded, a song was picked for him, and he began to sing it with his usual macho gusto, overly-dramatic...and badly, singing how he was going to swing from the chandeliers.

Skuld scooted up next to Ian with a slightly pouty face while watching Toraichi sing.

"You didn't have to do that you know?"

He got down to her at eye level and said, "I really didn't like how they were laughing at you.  You have such a nice voice, but maybe it just wasn't your song.  I think you're quite special."
     He had that smile on his face that would have been like Bell's had he been female and gave her a light loving stroke on the nose as he said that.

"Aw, gee... Thanks." said Skuld, rubbing her nose.

"Go try some of the punch, I made it using a secret recipe myself."

He smiled and said, "Okay...and, if it's that good, I'll take you to Ben & Jerry's after class tomorrow."

[Auir]

"Yaay, ice cream!" Skuld smiled cheerily.

He smiled back and went to try the punch.

[Auir]

It was an interesting flavor to say the least. The punch was there, but there was also hints of cool aid and pocari sweat too.

Kazi walked over and took a sip, "What kind of punch is this?"

"This stuff is delicious!" said Ian, not knowing that sweat was an ingredient, "Looks like that Ben & Jerry's trip is on for tomorrow afternoon!"

[Auir]

"Eheh, it's my secret recipe! Hawaiian fruit punch, red cool aid and pocari sweat! Full of electrolytes." grinned Skuld.

"Alright! I'm looking forward to it!"

Ian stopped mid-swallow and stared at her.  He choked the mouthfull down and said, "Sweat, you say...  Um...  Yeahhhhh...  Never would have thought sweat was an ingredient in punch."
     Meanwhile, everyone else in earshot was looking for a place to toss their cookies as Ian did not renege on his promise.  He then said, "Well, I said if it tasted good, you'd get what I promised, and, interestingly enough, it did taste good...(explains the slight saltiness...) so, it will be Ben and Jerry's tomorrow."

"Pokari Sweat is a soft drink brand," said Kazi, "it's basically juice."
