"Who's next?" someone hollered, and some suggested Skuld, some suggested Ian.

[Trace Carter]

"Why not Ian?" asked Urd.

[Auir]

"Yeah, I think Ian should go. I don't want to get my shirt dirty." said Skuld, pulling on her shirt for emphasis.

He shrugged and prepared to take the blindfold, but before he did, he walked up and looked at the watermelon.  He then casually strolled a few steps away and turned around slowly, seeming to take it in.  He then took a sniff here and there just as they put the blindfold on him.  The spun him round, but he stood there a few moments before moving.  He turned a bit one way, took a few steps, took one mighty swing, and struck it on the first try.

The group applauded at his accuracy and skill.

"Eep!" Skuld hid behind one of the guys to avoid the splatter of watermelon guts.

"How'd you do that, Yankee?" asked one, and he answered, "Well, I'm from Yankeeville, as we Mainers are told we 'talk Yankee,' so I'll take that as a compliment.  Anyway.  I saw what you were doing, and I put some logic to it.  I first measured the distance of the bat before I walked back.  Then I counted my paces from there.  I then got a feel for the sounds and smells around me, getting a feel where everything was before you blindfolded me and spun me around.  Once that was done, I regained myself, got oriented based on that, counted off the steps, and gave it a go.  Truth is, it wasn't an exact science, since I still could have been off, and it would have been huge guessing time, but I got a bit lucky, and there you go."

"You'd be a hit at parties," joked Kazi

What could be salvaged was quickly descended upon, and someone brought out the karaoke machine.

Some were calling for Belldandy to sing something, others were calling for all three sisters to blend their voices, considering that they knew how good all three were.

[Auir]

"Nee-sama, do you want to sing something together?" asked Skuld with sparkly eyes.

[paladin313]

"Let us get Urd to sing with us as well," said Belldandy, "But if Ian also joins us, we may not need the machine for the first song.  Ian, I do believe you play, yes?"
     Ian nodded and took the hint as he fetched his guitar.  He then said, "Urd, you want to join us?"

[Trace Carter]

"I don't see why not," said Urd.

Ian came back with the guitar and Bell asked Ian what he wanted to sing.  He then said, "Do you know Pete Seeger's version of 'Turn, Turn, Turn'?
     Bell smiled brightly and said, "I sang that as a young goddess!  It is a wonderful song!"
     Ian then said, "Then lead us in as I play and then we'll join in harmonies."
