he looked around and whispered to Z, "But while we were messing around, she and Lind were talking.  It may well be that this whole admitting family ties thing was all a ruse by someone.  I bet, if you can find out the truth of that, you just might be able to do something worthwhile."

He looked around again and said, "Let's pick a neutral turf and talk about this.  I'll meet you there."

"That's not the point," he said, "It's neutral ground where anyone could go.  If I'm there and you, the Valks ain't going to come down and trash the place for the sake of the souls in there."

Z grabbed some things from his room at the arcade and set out.

Ian was always amused about the fascination with KFC in Japan as he entered, yet, he had to remind himself that, in the same way Americans see oriental food as exotic, so the Japanese see uniquely american fare to be just as exotic.
