"I think we can handle this seal," said Urd, "just put a barrier over the door."

[Trace Carter]

(hello?)

((Been on vacation, as I said in another place.))

She nodded and she with her angels did so.

[Trace Carter]

Urd began to work with the new seal, the barrier keeping the magic from bleeding out.

[paladin313]

((What's Man supposed to be feeling?"

[Trace Carter]

(it's a bit uncomfortable.)

[paladin313]

Now, Ian began to feel a bit weak and a little sick.  He had just been endued with great power, and now it was being dampened.  It felt like he had a bad migraine, and he wanted to throw up.

[Trace Carter]

"It'll be over soon," said Z.

[paladin313]

"It feels like I'm being robbed of something," he moaned.

[Trace Carter]

"it's better than the alternative."

[paladin313]

"You all act like I am as fragile as a baby."

[Trace Carter]

"You have the powers of a god," said Z, "but right now, your body is still mostly human."

[paladin313]

"You don't understand," he said, "For the first time in my life, I felt so much better, and in many different ways.  Not only did I feel real good, my whole outlook to life just suddenly went awesome!  For the first time in a long time, I felt like I wanted to get up in the morning and face the day; like I actually mattered in this world and had worth."

[Trace Carter]

"Give it a few years," said Z, "your body has to adjust to the power you possess so it doesn't grow too fast and burn you from the inside out.  after that, the seal can come off."

Lind, catching his statement, went over and did something to him that, considering her demeanor, would never had been expected; she gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, saying, "Never think you never had worth, ever.  You are, and have always been, highly loved.  Your peers treated you real bad, haven't they?"
     Suddenly, and quite out of the blue, he frowned and his face went ashen.  Tears started to flow like Niagara Falls.  She then said, "You've always been there for others and given them advice, even fought for some, but they still treated you like dog feces, didn't they?"
     He started to cry harder, and more audibly now, and Lind said, "Yet, you held back your sadness for a long time.  You held it back because you thought no one would care."
     His hand came up to his face, and he was trembling now.
