There is no 'v' sound in written Japanese. When they need a 'v' sound, they write it using ba, bi, bo, bu, or be. So even if its written ジョヴィア　ジョヴィス, (Jobia Jobis) it may actually be spoken Jovia Jovis. I would give it a listen to make sure. But you wouldn't be wrong either way, unless its a loan word that does have a 'v' sound. Like Viagra.

Are these decent sales numbers? I don't really know much about the market but curious if these would be considered success or failure levels.

Finally looked at it very briefly... well, looking FOR things.

Nope, the novel also neglects to give "Jovia's mother from her previous life" a freaking name... or a name for Jovia in her previous life, for that matter (unless it's done elsewhere). Annoying.

Oddly deletes the confusing mention of Jovia having a daughter on Barrium too.

... Who is "Kensei-san" and his daughter? They consider sending the extra test deserts to him... wait... the Renza assassin and his daughter? what a bizarre ref to drop with no context.

great work over all but i noticed some of the typical translation errors it needs a second pass. the teo i noticed so far was kai as the ocean and women as daughters havent had a chance to listen all the way though

For an OVA that is charging per episode these are pretty decent numbers
Also I'm sure the powers that be are aware this is a niche show.

Yeah, those numbers aren't bad. A few thousand copies on release week, at the prices we know are solid.

Also, I'm seeing OAV 5 fullset for sale on ebay at ~$100.

the shidohen novel clarified quite alot about the mysterious flashback and kalashubydoobydoo but other wise was largely the same. It struck me that well the line about acha's mom is still odd. her mom is dead. so I think they meant erma

Her mom's not dead. Acha and the boy Wau were gathering medicine for her and Seina helped them. She survived. I think I remember her harshly berating the boy. She was completely on board with handing her single-digit aged daughter to a guy they just met: Shrine maiden's duty and she was of age according to their f'd up tribe. If Seina refused, mommy and everyone was ready to shun her for her failure.

Does anyone else find it odd that there wasn't an OP/ED single or an OST for this?  OAV 4 had a bunch of OP/ED singles and OAV 5 had an OST (part of the 5th release).  Did something happen where 「想ひ、ひとひら」 & 「Paradice LOVE」 didn't or couldn't be released on CD?  As best as I can tell, the singer (Mitsuki Nakae (中恵光城)) performed the songs during her concerts, so does anyone know why is there no CD for this?
